Prezentáciou výsledkov a dosiahnutých úspechov vysokej školy sa začalo večer 28. novembra 2024 Spoločenské stretnutie k 20. výročiu založenia VŠEM v Bratislave. Rektor VŠEM Dr. h. c. doc. Ing. Ľuboš Cibák, PhD. MBA vyzdvihol, aký dôležitý význam malo rozhodnutie zakladateľky a emeritnej rektorky vysokej školy Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Viery Cibákovej, CSc. v marci 2004 požiadať a získať štátny súhlas na pôsobenie súkromnej vysokej školy. 

With the participation of members of the Scientific Councils and Academic Senates throughout BUEM´s 20-year history, the Ceremonial Academy: Extended Meeting of the Scientific Council and Academic Senate of BUEM took place on November 28, 2024, on the university’s premises. The Vice-Rector for Pedagogical Activities and Lifelong Learning, prof. h. c. prof. Ing. Monika Hudáková, PhD. MBA, welcomed the Rector of BUEM, Dr. h. c. Assoc. prof. Ing. Ľuboš Cibák, PhD. MBA, the university’s founder and Rector Emeritus, Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Viera Cibáková, CSc., as well as other distinguished guests, including representatives from Slovak and international educational institutions. 

Za účasti členov vedeckých rád a akademických senátov počas 20-ročnej histórie VŠEM sa na pôde vysokej školy dňa 28. novembra 2024 uskutočnila Slávnostná akadémia: Rozšírené zasadnutie Vedeckej rady a Akademického senátu VŠEM. Prorektorka pre pedagogickú činnosť a celoživotného vzdelávanie prof.h.c. prof. Ing. Monika Hudáková, PhD. MBA na stretnutí privítala rektora VŠEM Dr.h.c. doc. Ing. Ľuboša Cibáka, PhD. MBA a emeritnú rektorku a zakladateľku vysokej školy Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Vieru Cibákovú, CSc. 

The evening of November 28, 2024, marked the beginning of the Social Gathering celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of BUEM (The Bratislava University of Economics and Management) with a presentation of the university's achievements and milestones. The Rector of BUEM, Dr. h. c. Associate Professor Ľuboš Cibák, PhD. MBA, highlighted the significant impact of the decision made by the university's founder and emeritus rector, Dr. h. c. Professor Viera Cibáková, CSc., in March 2004 to apply for and secure state approval for the operation of a private university.
