The Bratislava University of Economics and Management had the distinct honor of welcoming the Ambassador of Ireland to the Slovak Republic, His Excellency Dermot McGuaran, to its campus today. The visit was marked by an engaging lecture on Ireland’s remarkable economic transformation and its role in global and European contexts.

Dear students, on Wednesday, November 27th at 14:15 BUEM will be visited by H. E. Dermot McGauran, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ireland in Slovak Republic. The ambassador will also give a lecture with topic „Ireland's Economic Transformation and the Present“.

On November 14, 2024, the Bratislava University of Economics and Management hosted the International Scientific Conference titled "Innovation Processes in Management, Business, and Public Administration," featuring participants from various countries including China, Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. The conference began with opening remarks by Dr. h. c. doc. Ing. Ľuboš Cibák, PhD. MBA, Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava, alongside His Excellency Cai Ge, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in Slovakia.

During his morning visit, Ambassador Levon engaged with both local and international students, delivering a captivating lecture on Israel's history. His lecture also addressed longstanding issues faced by Israel, offering students a comprehensive view of the country.
