Ukrainian students of common programmes used free days of weekend to visit two cross border towns of Sturovo and Esztergom. They got acquainted with the history, natural scenery and architectural landmarks of the two towns connected by the famous Maria Valeria bridge.
The highlight of the trip was the excursion and climbing to the top of the dome in the The Primatial Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed Into Heaven and St Adalbert also known as the Esztergom Basilica. This offered students spectacular panoramic view of the Danube River, two towns and the surrounding countryside.
